A Reflective Response on the Documentary, 5 Seasons. A nonsubjective is a film that presents teaching to an audience elaborate a certain topic, but one which tries to remain unsophisticated and as realistic as possible. The objective I have chosen to analyse is 5 Seasons, which represents the Numurindi people of south-east Arnhem belt down in the Northern Territorys disjuncture of Carpentaria. This documentary focuses on the seasonal calendar year of the Numurindi people, and their room of action during the seasons. Because the company who produced this documentary is Canadian, the intended audience is the westerly society. This documentary shows and illustrates the contrast between the westbound cultural land focal point and the Indigenous ancient philosophies and beliefs of their land. This documentary is narrated by Tom E Lewis, who is break down of this culture. Because he not only sounds like part of this culture, but he explains and gives information from his own knowledge or so this society, it makes the viewer judge everything he says is believable and truthful, even if it is not the absolute reality.

I believe that this culture is not universe stereotyped, as although it is produced by Western society, it is presented and told by the Numurindi people. One division of this society, Moses Numamurdirdi, speaks about how they be from the land and their beliefs and valu es about property the land protected, as we! ll as being respectful. This unless again shows differences between my culture, Western society, and theirs. We are told that Western culture believes in two seasons, nonsensical and dry, whereas the Numurindi people believe and wave around five seasons.
